Cheerleaders


Cheerleaders work to promote school spirit. Students have to try out to be on the squad. They must have a 2.0 overall GPA, recommendations of teachers, and good attendance record. They are judged on their ability by professional NCA or UCA instructors. Cheerleaders meet in class together for the first semester and after school as needed. Their fees are the cheer camp which they must pay for and their uniforms. There is a cost to be involved with the Cheerleaders, but some of this is offset by fundraisers. Cheerleaders work with area nursing homes and with area cheerleading squads.
