Our relief effort for the south Louisiana flood victims was a successful partnership with many people in the community.
There are so many companies, families and individuals that donated money, water, food, clothes and other items to assist in our effort. We simply could not have had the impact that we did, without the complete outpouring of support from our community. Everyone that gave, worked and prayed, played a part in helping our south Louisiana neighbors that need so much.
This was also an excellent opportunity for our students to serve others. Something they will never forget.
For everything, we say "Thank You".
There were a few companies that provided for the major needs that actually made the trip possible.
A few of these are:
Chevyland, Bubba Winningham and David Comer provided a truck to use to pull one the trailers. THANK YOU!
Red River Coaches provided a very nice bus to transport our team down south. THANK YOU!
John Tucker is a driver for Red River Coaches. Mr. Tucker drove the bus and donated his time for the trip. THANK YOU!
Yokem Toyota donated 80 cases of water. THANK YOU!
Wilmore Snacks donated a large amount of food to deliver to the victims. THANK YOU!
Flowers Baking Company provided enough bread to feed hundreds! THANK YOU!
Mr. Brian Nallin donated the use of his Nallin Racing trailer to be used to haul supplies. THANK YOU!
UHAUL of Shreveport donated a large truck that carried the bulk of the supplies.
Thank you ALL for your provision and allowing us to serve as your ambassador to South Louisiana.
